Annual Race from Amelia Island to St. Simons Island
This offshore race pits the GISC against the Amelia Island Sailing Club, but the race is actually open to any properly outfitted vessel. Every GISC boat is needed to race to show AISC that we are the best! Plus it's just a lot of fun. We'll spend Friday night at Fernandina Harbor Marina, so lots of great restaurants within walking distance that evening.
Schedule:
Skippers' Meeting at 6 PM on Friday 4/10 at Fernandina Harbor Marina
Race starts at 9 AM on Saturday 4/11 in St. Marys Channel at end of jetty
Awards Ceremony at 7 PM on Saturday 4/11 at Golden Isles (Morningstar) Marina
(Makeup date in the event of the need to postpone the race is April 25)
